Clark Street Baptist Church, Johnson City, will celebrate 60 years of ministry with a homecoming celebration on Sept. 17. The service begins at 10 a.m. with the gospel trio Sacred Harmony, followed by an 11 a.m. service with guest speaker Willie Lunsford and guest choir director Glenn Church.
Scotts Hill Baptist Church, Scotts Hill, is inviting people to attend an “all denominational” March for Jesus and Praise and Glorify God rally at the Scotts Hill City Park on Saturday, Sept. 23. Music will start at 1 p.m. and will be provided by local groups. Pastors will begin speaking at 2 p.m. with the March for Jesus scheduled around 3:30 p..m.
Bonnertown Baptist Church, Five Points, will hold a homecoming celebration on Sept. 24 with Ronnie Galloway preaching, followed by a meal. The Kellys will sing at 2 p.m. A love offering will be collected to help support their ministry.

Randy Maxwell, director of missions for William Carey Baptist Association, based in Fayetteville, for the past eight-and-one-half years, has announced his resignation based on health issues, effective Dec. 31. Of his time with the association, Maxwell said, “We have experienced tremendous blessings, loving the Lord and each other.”
